Sustainability

Care that respects the planet.

Back to Home

Responsible biomedical waste, reusable equipment and low-carbon dispatch by design.

Home healthcare, done well, is already gentler on the planet than the hospital-first alternative — fewer transfers, fewer disposables, fewer buildings running 24×7. Ranovexa builds on that head start by designing waste, equipment and travel into the operating system from day one, so responsible choices are the default, not an afterthought.

Biomedical waste

Every home-care package ships with colour-coded segregation bins (yellow, red, white, blue) and puncture-proof sharps containers. Waste is picked up on schedule in sealed containers and handed only to Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facilities authorised by the Central Pollution Control Board. Volumes, categories and disposal certificates are tracked per household in our command centre.

Equipment fleet

We own our equipment fleet and service it on a strict preventive schedule, so devices live longer, land in more homes and generate less end-of-life waste. Consumable parts (filters, tubing, masks) are ordered from vendors that offer take-back and recycling programmes wherever possible.

Routing

Ranovexa·OS clusters visits by neighbourhood and reorders the day's route as bookings come in, cutting kilometres driven per care event. Where feasible, we deploy electric two-wheelers and share vehicles across the pharmacy, diagnostics and equipment teams instead of running parallel fleets.

Packaging

Cold-chain and pharmacy shipments use insulated boxes that we collect, sanitise and reuse. Non-clinical packaging is switching to paper-based or recycled alternatives as vendor availability allows.

People

Sustainability includes the people who deliver care. Caregivers are hired locally, insured, uniformed and paid within a fair-wage band reviewed annually. Rosters are designed to keep travel and shift lengths within safe limits.

Reporting

We publish an annual impact summary covering waste diverted, kilometres saved, equipment lifetime and staff wellbeing metrics — because you cannot improve what you do not measure.

CPCB-authorised disposal

Every gram of biomedical waste is handed only to authorised Common Treatment Facilities, with per-household records.

Owned, serviced fleet

Equipment is owned and preventively serviced, extending device life and reducing end-of-life waste.

Clustered dispatch

Ranovexa·OS reorders visits by neighbourhood to cut kilometres per care event.

Reusable packaging

Cold-chain and pharmacy shipments use insulated boxes we collect, sanitise and reuse.

Fair-wage rosters

Locally-hired caregivers on insured, fair-wage bands with safe shift lengths and travel limits.

Annual impact report

Published each year covering waste diverted, kilometres saved and staff wellbeing metrics.
